Fireplaces
Paul Dixon Ltd designs and creates Lakeland stone fire surrounds. This can be done by using any Lakeland stone at the discretion of the client. Surrounds can be created using traditional methods and materials or also by using a state of the art CNC computer controlled machine. This means that almost any idea or design can be created. Stone finishes can be honed , natural riven, pecked, sandblasted, tumbled or dressed. As a result a vast range of styles from Cottage fireplaces with wood burning stoves or dog grates using slate hearths, stone lintels or oak lintels to more formal or contemporary styles can be created and built.
The fireplaces on the photographs have all been designed by Paul Dixon, working closely with customers to create a personal fireplace blending their personal tastes and style of house. All fireplaces have been built by Paul Dixon LTD.
